You're Excited About US Because You Will...
- Maintain complete knowledge of every room offered at a facility, including standard rooms, junior suites, and luxury suites through ensuring inventory across the Property Management System, Revenue Management System, and Reservations System are in balance and take corrective action in the event of variances.
- Monitor room category and bedding availability, up to three days in advance, in order to prevent overbooking.
- Monitor rollaway, microwave and other amenity requests up to seven days in advance in order to ensure availability.
- Manage Out of Order and Out of Service room's inventory by checking status on a daily basis and following up with departments such as Housekeeping, Engineering, and Front Desk and updating Revenue Management team.
- Work with Housekeeping to ensure room readiness, communicate special requests, and clear departures. Monitors arrivals to ensure rooms are ready by check-in time
- Block early arrivals, special needs guests, & VIP's prior to their arrival. You will also block VIPs into upgraded room types while allocating the proper number of rooms to be reserved for upgrades performed by the front desk that generate revenue.
- Review all group resumes and ensures all appropriate information is communicated to other Team Members and make room blocks accordingly.

- You have prior guest facing experience and administrative experience, specifically within a hotel or resort.
- You have excellent customer service / communication skills to work with guests of various social, cultural, economic and educational backgrounds for the purpose of resolving problems / complaints and providing a high level of guest satisfaction.
- You have elevated computer and math skills to enter data, read, and interpret information.
- You are willing and able to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. Work schedules will include working on holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts.
- You have an analytical mind, enjoying little to no supervision while ensuring the hotel operates at maximum efficiency.
- You have at least 1 year of supervising and / or management experience within an office or front desk space.

While performing the duties of the job the Team Member regularly stands for sustained periods of time or walks from one work area to another.

The Team Member occasionally stoops and crouches. The Team Member regularly talks when communicating with guests. The Team Member regularly needs to hear voices while interacting with guests.
Exerts up to 70 pounds of force occasionally when moving luggage. The Team Member is required to have close visual acuity to prepare and analyze data and figures and view a computer terminal.
The Team Member is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned and to make general observations of facilities.
The Team Member is subject to inside environmental conditions. The noise level is moderate. The Team Member is subject to hazards, which include proximity to electrical current, found in office related equipment.
The Team Member is occasionally subject to atmospheric conditions such as perfumes, odors, or dusts.
The expected hourly rate for this position is $22.00 to $24.00. The Meritage Resort & Spa reserves the right to modify or update this range at any time.
The actual rate offered will be at the sole discretion of the company and determined by relevant experience, qualifications, and skillset of the final candidate.
A full-time team member in this role is eligible for health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, 401k, educational reimbursement, and paid time off, including vacation and sick leave.
