Sharing the Air Force and Space Force story with a global audience requires captivating and informative communication. It’s the job of Public Affairs to shape the Air Force’s public image by building relationships with the community and managing relationships with a variety of media organizations.
These Airmen develop scripts and graphics, serve as on-camera announcers, and document both ground and aerial missions to ensure information is captured for current and future generations to see.
- Supervise broadcast radio and television programming
- Operate the latest media technology editing software
- Produce news and information products to support mission requirements
- Establish relationships with local and regional news media
- Conduct community engagement activities

QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY
MINIMUM EDUCATION
A High School Senior (age 17 or older)*, High school diploma, a GED, or 15 college semester hours
High School Students may start their application as early as the end of their junior year.
