Job Summary :
Opus Memoria in Anchorage, Alaska is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistants (PCA) to join our team in our Assisted Living-Memory Care facility.
As a PCA, you will provide personalized care and support to our residents to help them maintain their independence and quality of life.
This is a part-time, hourly position with opportunities for growth and advancement in the rapidly growing healthcare industry.
Compensation & Benefits :
We offer a competitive hourly wage of $17 to $20 per hour paid biweekly.

Responsibilities :
- Provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medication according to prescribed instructions and document in resident's records
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Monitor and report changes in resident's physical, emotional, and mental status to the care team
- Encourage and engage residents in social activities and exercises
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Attend required trainings and meetings to stay updated on best practices and procedures
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations governing assisted living facilities and resident care
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare or caregiving role, preferably in an assisted living or memory care setting
- Current PCA or CNA certification in the state of Alaska or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and understanding demeanor
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
