Night Shift QA Technician – South Dallas

Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for a food and beverage manufacturer south of Dallas, TX.

The overall responsibility of the position is to perform laboratory testing to ensure ingredients, final products, and packaging conform to quality specifications.

Essential Functions of the Job :

• Perform laboratory testing such as pH, solids / moisture, sodium, etc.
• Perform microbiology testing including basic plating in a clean room environment
• Perform destructive aseptic package testing
• Communicate lab data to Quality Supervisor and Operations Shift Leaders
• Accurately prepares and maintains all area paperwork
• Perform laboratory equipment calibrations at specified intervals
• Troubleshoot and resolve moderate operating difficulties involving area equipment
• Assist with investigations related to product spoilage
• Perform incubation activities according to standard operating procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation Education / Experience :
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• AS / BS degree in Food Science / Food Technology and / or
• 2+ years related experience in a food or beverage production facility preferred Job Details

• Pay rate : $23.50
• Work schedule : 2-2-3 night shift (6pm-6am) #P1
