Job Title : Stewardship Liaison (Temporary)
Department : Development
Reports To : Manager, Legacy & Gift Planning
FLSA Status : Temp to Hire
Position Status : Full time / Part time
Job Summary :
The Stewardship Liaison is primarily responsible for implementing and recording donor stewardship efforts to build a deeper relationship with donors with the goal of increasing donor retention.
Specific Duties :
- Call donors to thank them for their gift and engage in conversation to build a strong relationship between the donor and SVdP
- Communicate regularly via phone, email, visits, tours, etc. with existing Mid / Major donors to develop relationships and build a stewardship portfolio for donor management.
- Implement efforts to reinstate lapsed donors
- Perform any other duties assigned by Manager, Legacy & Gift Planning
Required Skills / Abilities :
- Excellent customer service and phone skills
- High attention to detail
- Team player with a desire to collaborate / brainstorm on ways to improve stewardship / retention efforts
- Familiar with utilizing a computer, Word and Excel programs and the Salesforce database
Education and Experience :
College degree preferred; all work experience considered
Physical Requirements :
- Able to stand, walk, sit, bend, reach and lift up to 30 pounds are required for this position
