Daikin is looking for an UI Designer to join our team! The UI designer will be responsible for creating the look and feel of the software interfaces related to the Daikin Applied products.
This person must have experience with mobile, web and embedded user interfaces. The ideal candidate will have created prototypes, lead user testing, and implemented their GUI designs on multiple platforms.
A Day in the Life :
- P Prototyping / Storyboarding UI concepts
- Designing and implementing custom user interfaces
- Standardizing the look and feel of products across different platforms
- Improving product usability
- Work with other engineering teams and marketing to ensure requirements are understood and testable
- Lead VOC activities
- Participate in design and code reviews

What you will Bring :
- More than 10 years of related education and experience in Design of mobile, web and embedded user interfaces.
- Participation (or lead) in VOC (voice of customer) activities and user testing
- Developing interfaces that can be adapted to different languages (or are language neutral)
- Requirements management
- Defect tracking
- HVAC systems
- Automated Testing
- Customer experience improvement activities (related to the entire product : installation, maintenance, etc.)
