Are you a passionate leader eager to make a positive impact on young minds? The Goddard School of Las Vegas (Enterprise) is seeking an Assistant Director for our early education facility in Southwest Las Vegas .
In this role, you'll support the Director of Education, ensuring every child's needs are met and licensing requirements are maintained.
Key Responsibilities :
- Striving for Excellence :
- Manage all office operations, including family enrollments, documentation accuracy, system entries, and organized file maintenance for licensing and QA inspections.
- Inspiring Communication :
- Lead our communication strategy, creating engaging monthly themes, newsletters, and social media posts. Interact comfortably with parents, and prospective families, and answer phones.
- Streamlined Operations :
- Oversee payroll and HR functions, ensuring smooth facility operations. Manage maintenance schedules, inventory, supplies, and sanitizing routines.
- Building a Dream Team :
- Recruit and develop top-tier educators, fostering their professional growth in a collaborative environment.
- Building Bridges :
- Establish strong relationships with families, teachers, community partners, and licensing authorities, ensuring an exceptional experience for every child and family.
- Innovation and Growth :
- Enhance center enrollment and revenue through best practices and introduce new programs like summer camps and after-school activities.
- Educational Excellence :
- Partner with the Education Director to implement comprehensive education services, providing guidance, training, and support to teachers.
- Empowering Leadership :
- Delegate authority, build leadership capacity, and foster a culture of growth and shared responsibility.
- Cultivating a Flourishing Environment :
- Maintain up-to-date policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all.
Qualifications :
- Minimum 3 years of success in classroom and administrative roles within a preschool setting.
- Knowledge of Nevada State childcare licensing policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field with additional ECE courses.
- Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace) and social media proficiency.
- Demonstrated experience in boosting enrollment and implementing revenue-generating programs.
- Good, positive energy and attitude
Physical Demands :
- Communicate verbally, answer phones, and use computers.
- Good vision for tasks.
- Stand, walk, sit, and interact with children at their level.
- Bend, kneel, and lift to 25 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 50 pounds.
- Moderate to high noise levels in the work environment.
