ACLC, LLC supports the Joint Interoperability Division's (JID) mission with the objective of ensuring that operational forces can exploit the full capability of JTO Interface Systems.
Support covers the full range of functions required to plan, develop, coordinate and manage the JTO training program to include courseware development and world-wide formal academic training and joint exercise support to support joint, allied and coalition air and ground forces in the employment of JTO Interface capabilities.
Annually ACLC conducts approximately 30 Joint / U.S. Training Courses (CONUS and OCONUS) producing approximately 2000 graduates, and 30 Allied Training Courses (OCONUS) producing approximately 500 graduates for 10 allied nations.
ACLC, LLC is seeking a qualified individual who will
- Provide leadership and oversight to the Curriculum Development team supporting the JID-TC.
- Develop curriculum, assess instruction, and maintain JID courses
- Evaluate distributed learning training tools and make recommendations for improvement as needed.
- Maintain configuration management of the distributed learning training tools.
- Provide course planning and administration, which includes development and maintenance of schedules, scheduling hands-on field training, student briefs, handouts and administrative documents, and student notification processes.
- Perform curriculum reviews, courseware development, and multimedia enhancements , especially in an electronic classroom.
- Provide courseware design expertise to support the comparative analysis of training courses .
- Analyze instructional methods utilized within the platform courses to characterize specific instructional practices and modules for each course that are conducive to enhance adult learning utilizing online / distance learning delivery methods.
- Support world-wide deployed mobile training teams.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Some travel may be required, less than 20%.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in instructional design / technology, learning sciences, education, or equivalent in a related field.
- Military instructor experience
- Experience designing and creating self-paced, interactive instructional content.
- Strong customer interfacing skills
- Excellent writing and presentation skills
- Experience with Learning Management Systems such as BlackBoard and Moodle
- Secret Security Clearance
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
