Position Summary :
The Project Coordinator supports the project management team by handling administrative tasks and ensuring that project operations run smoothly.
The Project Coordinator assists senior project managers by monitoring daily progress of projects, providing detailed updates where requested, planning meetings, and organizing project logistics.
Additionally, the Project Coordinator tracks project requests through the project intake process, gathers information and communicates needs across the many stakeholders to help facilitate timely prioritization and approvals.
Our ideal candidate has strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and have an interest in technical solutions.
This person should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, be comfortable working in a collaborative team environment, and confident in deadline-driven project delivery.
Experience with project management software and tools is highly desired.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Tracking project progress and updating project management tools
- Providing detailed updates to project managers or other stakeholders
- Scheduling meetings and maintaining project calendars
- Coordinating communication among project team members and stakeholders
- Performing administrative duties like maintaining digital records and data entry
Within your first month, you’ll :
- Have a good understanding of people and their roles within the organization
- Build rapport with team, extending to the business and relevant stakeholders
- Be familiar with the different products and business areas within the organization
Within your first year, you’ll :
- Be fully integrated with the team and business units
- Be thoroughly familiar with the project intake process and project management methodologies in use
- Adept in working across groups to gather information for project planning and prioritization
Supervisory Responsibilities : None
Education and Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in analysis related field or equivalent education and / or experience.
Grading / Leveling guidelines :
- Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills, including individual and small group presentations
- Ability to work collaboratively with business and technical teams
- Experience being part of large projects with formal methodologies
- Desired : understanding of waterfall and agile methodologies
Other Qualifications :
- Experience with project management or workflow tools
- Agile / Scrum methodology experience
- Is curious, approachable, and demonstrates a growth’ mindset
