Custodian Weekend Days
Monday - Wednesday and every other Thursday 5 : 00am - 5 : 00pm
The hourly wage for this position is $19.22 to 19.95.
New Hire Sign On Bonus - $2,000

This highly visible position is located at our Vancouver, WA Facility.
What you’ll do :
This position will be responsible for performing custodial duties throughout the VMS Plant including offices, manufacturing, packaging, blend, warehouses, parking lots, and grounds.
Essential Functions :
Follow Standard Operating Procedures, company policies, safety policies and practices, quality standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Responsible at all times for ensuring that tasks are performed according to food safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines.
Maintain facilities in a clean and orderly condition.
Work in clean rooms, warehouses, and production environments.
Use a variety of cleaning utensils and equipment including floor scrubbers.
Perform routine cleaning tasks such as wiping down furniture walls and doors; scrubbing toilets; washing windows; sweeping and mopping floors;
and emptying out trash cans.
Perform high cleaning in a scissor lift as needed.
Replenish kitchen and bathroom supplies.
Report supply needs to supervisor.
Elevate sanitation needs to supervisor.
Complete cleaning work orders in a timely manner.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What you’ll need :
High school diploma or GED plus one (1) year experience and / or equivalent combination of experience and education that could likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform the job.
Ability to assist in keeping the buildings and grounds clean and orderly.
Ability to maintain quality, safety and / or infection control standards.
Ability to detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel.
Ability to follow written and / or oral instructions.
Ability to maintain punctuality and predictable attendance.
Ability to wear appropriate personal protective equipment and clean room attire; perform moderate physical activity which requires standing and / or walking for more than four (4) hours per day and up to twelve (12) hours per shift and lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds;
and perform work onsite in a light industrial environment, including some exposure to non-toxic dust.
