POSITION DESCRIPTION

Join our team as a Fleet Coordinator, providing vital support to fleet maintenance by managing contracts, scheduling inspections, and coordinating preventive maintenance and repairs within the Fleet division of Public Works Department.

What will you do in this position?

  • Creates and schedules services with external vendors for vehicles and equipment, facilitates their transportation, and offers analytical support for vehicle and equipment management, including planning, organizing, monitoring, and controlling inventory.
  • Drafts technical and performance-based specifications for the purchase of new vehicles and specialized equipment.
  • Monitors lease, service, and repair charges for vehicles and equipment to ensure they are accurate and complete, and suggests purchases or phase-outs based on repair types, frequency, and costs.

A successful candidate in this position will :

  • Effectively evaluate and prioritize various tasks, projects, and demands.
  • Openly receive new ideas and other perspectives.
  • Ensure clear and efficient communication of information and ideas through diverse communication channels.
