We are currently seeking a self-motivated, results oriented Systems Administrator. It is Micro Center’s core promise to take care of our associates and customers which has led to our success over the last 40+ years!

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Manage and execute patching for Linux and Windows servers and network systems to maintain optimal security and performance
  • Provide on-call coverage as part of a rotation and contribute to improving team versatility

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Linux and Windows system administration, 5+ years preferred
  • Hands-on experience with patching and maintaining network systems and related tasks
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Linux+, Microsoft Certified : Windows Server) are a plus

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Proven experience in Linux and Windows system administration, including Oracle Linux Manager
  • Solid understanding of network systems and related tasks
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
