Position Overview :
This position requires a multidisciplinary designer with expertise in graphic design, photography, video production, and animation.
The ideal candidate is a visual storyteller capable of elevating the brand across digital and print platforms, while also producing high-quality content for social media, product campaigns, and motion graphics.
This role will work closely with the Creative Director to support the marketing team, contributing to the evolution of the brand's creative assets.
This role offers a generous benefits package, an annual bonus opportunity, and half-day Fridays! The position will be a full-time, hybrid role based out of our San Clemente office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Graphic Design : Create on-brand marketing materials, including packaging design, print collateral, digital assets for web, social media, and email marketing.
- Photography & Video Production : Plan, shoot, and edit product photography and videos for marketing campaigns, social media, and e-commerce platforms.
- Motion Graphics & Animation : Develop motion graphics for promotional videos, social ads, and branded content, incorporating animations for storytelling.
- Content Creation : Support marketing efforts by creating engaging visual content that aligns with SAMBAZON's mission, product launches, and promotional campaigns.
- Brand Consistency : Ensure all creative output adheres to SAMBAZON's brand guidelines, maintaining consistency across various channels and touchpoints.
Education and Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Five or more years of professional experience in graphic design, photography, and video production.
- Experience as a designer for a Quick Service Restaurant Brand a PLUS.
- Experience as a designer at an Ad Agency a PLUS.
- Strong portfolio showcasing diverse design work, including motion graphics and animation.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro) and other design software.
- Experience shooting and editing high-quality video and photography a plus.
- Expertise in creating content for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).
- Strong knowledge of typography, layout, and color theory.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Familiarity with the CPG industry or health / wellness brands is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience working with project management tool ASANA a plus.
