STEPS is seeking a mid-level IT Project Manager with 5-7 years of experience managing mid-to-large groups of work & versatile experience managing a variety of projects (software dev, infrastructure, product focused, etc.
with good experience using AGILE / SCRUM methodologies and modern tools & technologies in the market.
Modern Technical Stack : Agile, Product Mindset, PowerBI, Azure DevOps, Angular, Node.JS.
Primary function : manage project timelines & budget along with stakeholder management for a variety of projects in a portfolio.
This is an individual contributor role that will report to senior leadership.
Excellent communication skills, assertiveness, and stakeholder management skills are a must!
Any Project Managers with above experience who have recently shifted focus from traditional project management to a product-oriented role, such as a Product Owner or Product Manager are highly encouraged to apply.

Role Overview :
We are seeking a dynamic Mid-Level IT Project Manager for a 6 12-month contract with potential to convert full-time. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing diverse IT projects and a keen product mindset.
Responsibilities :
- Manage a variety of IT projects, including applications and infrastructure.
- Ensure project delivery within timelines and budget constraints.
- Maintain effective stakeholder communication across various levels and partners.
- Employ Agile, Scrum, and Azure DevOps methodologies and tools effectively.
- Operate independently as an individual contributor without a dedicated team.
Requirements :
- Solid experience in managing IT projects, both applications and infrastructure.
- Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, and other project management tools.
- Strong skills in timeline and budget management, and stakeholder relations.
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Required "product mindset" with a focus on comprehensive, business-aligned solutions.
- Must be located in the St. Paul or Minneapolis area.
