POSITION PURPOSE
Manage Operation’s Production work flow and Procedures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
- Responsible for accountability of Operational written procedures for any new or changes to Operation’s procedures
- Responsible for initial training and on-going training for all new or changed procedures with the department head
- Monitor complete pipeline focusing on details of closing dates, current file status (in u / w, processing. Closing, file manager)
- Send updated processor current workflow once or twice daily to team leads depending on time of month
- Advise staff on loans funding daily, reminding staff to complete all funding conditions prior to loan funding
- Monitor and send out daily reminders on closing deadlines and request status (need PCD, move closing dates) Suggest how they can meet closing dates
- Complete Management detailed pipeline twice weekly to Mortgage Mgmt
- Assist teams on setting correct expectations for closing dates
- Send email to mortgage operations advising deadlines for each department for the following month so we have capacity to close as many loans as possible
- Support sales staff with moving up closing dates or special requests or status on loans
- Keep Management as well as sales staff up to date with deadlines and current capacity
- All other duties as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education / Certification : High school graduate or equivalent.
Coursework in general office skills helpful.
Required Knowledge : Knowledge of mortgage related computer applications.
Experience Required : 7 or more years’ experience in Mortgage department processing
Skills / Abilities : Strong typing abilities.
Good communication and public relations skills.
Well organized and attentive to detail / accuracy
Ability to cooperate with and assist others.
Monday - Friday : 8 AM - 5 PM40 hours
