About this role :

This critical role will be responsible for the entire manufacturing process to ensure that production meets the required standards of safety, quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

This position involves strategic planning and coordination across various departments, including procurement, production, quality control, and distribution.

As the Plant Manager of BarSplice Products Inc., your duties will include :

• Use of leadership and collaboration to support the company's goals, to ensure that products are delivered on time and to specification, thereby meeting customer expectations and driving business success.
• Maintain our robust company culture. Our employees matter and are our greatest asset!
• Oversee the entire manufacturing operation, ensuring production meets the required schedules, quality standards, and budget constraints.
• Develop and implement strategic plans, including automation, to increase efficiency, productivity, and profitability within the manufacturing division.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other methodologies, to enhance operational efficiency.
• Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the timely procurement of materials and negotiate contracts to reduce costs.
• Lead the implementation of safety and environmental policies in compliance with government regulations and company standards to ensure a safe workplace.
• Direct the maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment and facilities to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.

Requirements :

Qualifications for the Plant Manager of BarSplice Products Inc. :

• 10+ years manufacturing production management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field of study, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in managing complex inventory and distributions channels.
• Is highly organized and has effective time management skills.
• Has a strong working knowledge of ERP systems. New ERP system integration is a plus.
• Has extensive experience in capacity planning.
