Role Summary

- To perform daily cross-functional job assignments as required and per the department’s established procedures and work instructions.
Key Responsibilities
- To ensure that automation / robotic technical support is provided to all pertinent production department employees. This responsibility is geared towards a train the trainer’ approach with the goal of delivering first-class customer service.
- Provide technical support to the IMM Department on the off shifts with respect to automated and robotic systems.
- Participate in implementation of new program launch activities
- Perform preventative maintenance of automation systems (Robots, EOAT’s).
- Assist in building of new EOAT’s and other Automation Equipment
- Perform other duties related to the automation process as designated by the Automation Engineer.
- Perform other duties as directed.
Key Qualifications / Requirements
- Six years of direct job related experience
- Microsoft Office, Auto-CAD, and good understanding of PLC logic
- 3-5 years of robotic experience in the automotive industry
- Ability to read and write electrical and pneumatic schematics
- Self-motivated and able to follow direction.
