The BusinessIntelligence Analyst plays a key role within the Real EstateInvestments team responsible for providing reporting solutions tosupport the full lifecycle of Commercial Mortgage Loans.
Workingwith limited supervision the Business Intelligence Analyst willanalyze design and develop various reporting tools including SSRSreport development custom data extracts Tableau and Power BIdashboards as well as handling adhoc data and reporting requests tomeet the data needs of the Real Estate Investment team.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather anddefine business requirements for reporting and dashboard design andtranslate them into detailed technical specifications.
- Facilitate structured walkthroughs of requirements withbusiness and project teams.
- Design and developcanned custom and adhoc reports for Commercial Mortgage Loanssupporting origination underwriting asset management accounting andservicing using BI tools such as SSRS custom SQL queries PowerQueries and Power Pivots.
- Create and developTableau and Power BI dashboards to serve the real estate andinvestment teams.
- Analyze and extractCommercial Mortgage Loan data to provide insights on keyperformance metrics trends data audits and portfolio managementanalytics.
- Develop test plans for reportingrequests in accordance with standard SDLC processes.
- Maintain and update report documentation using deploymenttools to manage report migration across variousenvironments.
- Train real estate business userson the Commercial Mortgage Loan Reporting system to facilitate aselfservice reporting model.
- Contribute tospecial projects offering data analytics and data modeling tosupport real estate business users.
- Assesscurrent data usage within the Commercial Mortgage Loan system andimplement performance improvements coordinating closely with ITinvestment teams to address any necessary data cleanup.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Education &Experience
- Bachelorsdegree in computer science or equivalent related workexperience
- 3 years in Business Intelligenceand data warehousing areas
- 3 years inprogramming and system analysis
- 3 years usingSQL Server
Preferred :
- Experience inCommercial Real Estate Finance
- Workingknowledge of Loan Management Systems
- Workingknowledge of Visual Studio and GitHub source control

- Intermediate SQL / Query Skills
- Intermediate Knowledge of Business Intelligence toolsincluding SSRS Tableau and Power BI
- Intermediate Knowledge of SharePoint Visio &Microsoft Access
- Intermediate Knowledge ofExcel Word and PowerPoint
- Intermediate levelof investigative analytical and problemsolving skills
- Broad business knowledge including knowledge ofinvestments andor financial lending
