Essential Duties and Responsibilities .
- Coordinates activities of the cooking ovens during 2nd shift, (knows how to set up / load / empty / read and program ovens for specified product / and handles meat racking for oven preparation).
- Maintains time and production records; assists supervisors with paperwork; analyzes and works with others in solving work problems.
- Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
- Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.
- Knows how to arrange racks in chill boxes to use their full capacity / to swap out temperature recording charts / how to troubleshoot boilers / blown fuses and chart recorders.
- Inspect the meat after processing to ensure the quality of the meat is being met per customer specifications.
- Check temperature of the meat before use.
- Communicate with Drivers, Supervisor or designated person to ensure that a constant flow of supplies is there at all times.
- Demonstrate the ability to work as a team and follow direction.
- Adherence to all quality and safety guidelines.
- Lifting up to 60 pounds
- Performs other duties as needed.
