Great Hill is seeking a Computer Programmer / Scrum Master in the DMV area.

This position will entail supporting the Naval Air Systems Command (NavAir), in particular, the Digital Analytics, Infrastructure and Technology Advancement (DAiTA) Group and the Naval Leveraging Innovation, Frameworks and Technology (LIFT) and Integrated Modeling Environment (IME) projects.

Specifically, this position will provide support to the Navy Lift and IME with computer programming tasks in addition to scrum master duties.

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

Software / Application Test Engineer Roles and Responsibilities

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field or 4 years' experience working in computer science, information technology.
• Ensure the delivery of a high-quality, reliable, and efficient software product.
• Review requirements of a software application and determining the best testing scenarios to assess whether that software will perform as intended.
• Develop / conduct unit test, integration test, functional test, acceptance test.
• Knowledge on how to apply and manage systematic approach that aims to identify and rectify defects, errors, and potential issues within the software during its development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with programming and scripting languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience write test scripts and perform data-driven testing.
• Experience conducting regression Testing of functional and non-functional tests to ensure that the system continues to perform satisfactorily even after changes, updates, or modifications.
• Ensure the software is free of potential vulnerabilities, known flaws and security loopholes that might affect the user system and data
• It provides a framework for creating test plans, test designs, test cases, test procedures, test logs, and test reports.

It ensures that all software testing documentation is complete and consistent.

• Establishes better quality requirements, identifies, implements, analyzes, and validates the process and product software quality metrics.
• Ensure that software inspections are carried out correctly.
• Classify various software anomalies.
• Develop software quality assurance plans.
• Establish software quality metrics and methodologies.

Scrum Master

• Demonstrated experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban etc.) :
• Skilled in servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
• Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and coach high-performing software development teams
• Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment and work on multiple priorities and / or projects simultaneously without impact to quality of work
• Experience being on Scrum teams in a variety of different contexts (different team sizes / organizations / cultures)
• Demonstrated experience in issue identification and resolution
• Moderate to expert-level knowledge of JIRA or other agile tools to measure team productivity and report metrics
• Must possess and utilize exceptional communication skills to keep teams operating at maximum efficiency while also ensuring that senior leaders and executive management are always informed of progress
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills
• Adaptable and flexible in a cross-functional environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lead retrospectives, document outcomes, and guide team members in best practices

Basic Qualifications :

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field or 4 years' experience working in computer science, information technology.
• Active Secret Clearance

Desired Skills :

Active Top Secret Clearance
