We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Full-Time School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in the Braceville, ILarea for the 2024 / 2025 school year.

This position involves providing speech and language therapy services to students in school settings.

Responsibilities :

  • Assessment and Evaluation : Conduct prehensive speech and language assessments for students to identify their needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Intervention and Therapy : Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement effective munication strategies and support plans.
  • IEP Development : Participate in the development, implementation, and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs.
  • Documentation : Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, treatment plans, and other required documentation.
  • Training and Support : Provide training and support to school staff and parents on speech and language development and intervention strategies.
  • Professional Development : Stay current with research and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology and participate in ongoing professional development.

Requirements :

  • Education : Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Licensure : Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Illinois.
  • Certification : Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
  • Experience : Previous experience working in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Skills : Strong munication, organizational, and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
