Caseload : K-12, self contained, multiple openings
Soliant is seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in the Channahon, ILareafor the uping 2024-25 school year.
This is a full-time, onsite position. Full benefits, weekly pay, and guaranteed hours are offered with this position.If you are mitted to making a difference in the lives of students with special needs, we encourage you to apply!
Job Details :
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
- Provide direct instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
- Valid IL Special Education certification and Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Experience with autism and specific learning disabilities required
- Experience with behavioral and social-emotional disorders required
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
