Job Description
The Lift Lab Team Training Coach leads various high-intensity exercise sessions and activities designed to improve participants’ physical fitness and overall well-being.
Lift Lab sessions are exclusive to Chuze Fitness Colorado - and we'd love to have you be a part of these special sessions!
We are looking for someone with early weekday morning availability. Weekend availability would also be a plus.
You'll cultivate a spirit of camaraderie, catering to individual needs in a dynamic and energetic environment while delivering safe, effective, and physiologically sound workouts.
As a fitness ambassador and expert, you'll play a vital role in fostering meaningful interactions and relationships and deliver stellar Chuze experiences for members at every stage of their fitness journey.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Build a strong rapport and sense of community with members by maintaining a consistent coaching schedule and providing safe and motivating sessions for participants
- Deliver classes within Chuze guidelines, arriving to each class with prepared with any necessary equipment and music with adherence to licensing agency requirements
- Complete Chuze onboarding and training materials before teaching live sessions and maintain knowledge of updates
- Maintain Chuze cleanliness standards during and after sessions and ensure gym presentation is always extraordinarily clean
- Engage in the growth and development process by utilizing feedback received from the Fitness Manager through regular check-ins, training, and session evaluations
- Participate in ongoing fitness industry education and maintain proof of current credentials
- Maintain professional relationships through communication and teamwork with all Chuze staff to meet member and facility needs
- Attend and participate in regularly scheduled Fitness department meetings and special promotional events to promote participation in Chuze Fitness offerings
- Utilize the Fitness Communication Platform for essential department communications

Qualifications
Required
- 1 year experience as a Fitness Professional with current, nationally recognized certification (CPT)
- Current CPR / AED certification (or obtain within the first 60 days of employment)
- Ability to lead and motivate a large group while providing empowered cueing to all fitness levels
- Excellent team-based communication with the capacity to receive and deliver feedback
- Ability to operate basic Audio / Visual equipment
- Organized self-starter with effective problem-solving and multitasking skills
- Ability to maintain appropriate confidentiality and build rapport with members and fellow employees
- Essential Physical Requirements :
- Read, write, and speak clearly in English
- Walking and climbing stairs
- Leading and performing high-intensity workouts
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs
Preferred
- TRX training certified (preferred)
- Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)
