BJC Medical Group has an Interventional Cardiology opportunity based at Parkland Health Center located in Farmington, MO , a little over an hour from St. Louis , Missouri.
This position is J1 eligible through the DRA. We have sponsored J1s for this location with 100% success rate.

Practice Details :
- Practice a mix of general and interventional cardiology
- Cardiac catheterization, PCI, Cardio MEMS, endovascular and peripheral vascular cases
- Device / pacemaker implantations would be a plus
- New Cath Lab
- Cardiology Department consists of 3 Interventionalists and 2 Invasive Cardiologists
- EPIC EMR
- Shared call schedule of 1 : 5

Role Purpose
Ensures optimal care and promotes safety of patients admitted to assigned service in cooperation with the private attending staff and nursing staff.
Communicates with staff, patients, and families.
Responsibilities
- Manages the medical care of assigned patients.
- Collaborates with patients, families, and members of the health care team to ensure excellent clinical outcomes.
- Performs and documents histories and physicals in the patient's medical record as required by hospital by-laws.
- Supervises and instructs medical students and residents assigned to service. Assists in the learning needs of residents and students as assessed.
