The Assistant Project Manager will assist the Project Manager in assigned duties to oversee, document, and report the daily activities of project staff and workforce.
Essential Duties :
- Preparation of work scope packages
- Change order estimating and development
- Project tracking and quality control
- Documentation and facilitation of problem solving using the RFI system
- Preparation of subcontractor bid packages, subcontracts, and purchase orders
Qualifications :
- Strong ability to lead, motivate, and manage project teams in successful project completion.
- Establish accountability for results and develop a positive work environment for every project team member to thrive professionally and personally.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal / written communications skills to effectively communicate with employees, customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Minimum Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience in Timberline project financial software preferred
