We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Partner Relationships to lead our cross-media investment and integration team.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading our media partner relationships, spending and integrations across all our media partners.

Your leadership across the areas of media planning, negotiation, relationship building and analytics will be essential in shaping our strategies for both data driven linear television and programmatic connected television.

You will work closely with a highly motivated cross functional team of product managers, technologists, account managers and play a critical role in transforming the video media ecosystem.

You will be instrumental in navigating the rapidly evolving media landscape, enhancing our presence, and delivering to advertisers needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leadership : Set a clear vision, drive strategic initiatives, and foster a collaborative environment to achieve exceptional results across all media partners.
  • Partnership Development : Ensure availability of Linear TV and CTV inventory by fostering innovative partnerships and deal structures with Linear TV networks and digital media platforms, including FAST channels, supply side platforms (SSPs) and other programmatic platforms.
  • Negotiation : Establish a variety of deal structures, including upfront / scatter agreements, PMP / PG deals, across Linear and CTV on an ongoing basis to ensure that Simulmedia’s product and services meet the commercial needs of our advertiser / agency clients.
  • Manage and train partner relations team : Oversee the partner relations team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Strategy : Collaborate closely with product leadership on developing Simulmedia’s inventory strategy.
  • Commercial Collaboration : Collaborate closely with commercial leadership and advertisers to ensure campaigns meet specific goals.
  • Communication : Communicate market developments, pricing benchmarks to Simulmedia commercial and product teams keeping them abreast of market trends and conditions.
  • Thought leadership : Collaborate with the marketing team to regularly publish blogs and speak at conferences - thereby establishing Simulmedia’s thought leadership in the media ecosystem.

EXPECTED ABILITIES / SKILLS

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and direct a team.
  • Established relationships within the media and specifically the TV / CTV ecosystem.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated experience negotiating Linear TV and CTV media deals and terms.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Comfortable working in new and unfamiliar environments or projects.
  • Intellectually curious.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively work under changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE :

  • College degree in analytical or related field.
  • 10 years of TV buying and / or pricing and planning experience required.
  • Five years leading a team media buying or advertising operations.
  • Understanding of TV advertising operations.
  • Understanding of digital, VOD or OTT inventory and advertising operations will also be helpful.

We're required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances of each case, but a reasonable estimate of the current base range for this role is $150,000 - $185,000.

Note that this range is specific to national metro areas and that offers take into account a wide variety of potential factors considered in compensation, including but not limited to skill, qualifications, accomplishments, experience, credentials, and business needs.
