The pay rate for this position is $15 per hour.

Job Summary / Primary Purpose : The Youth Engagement Program Staff will provide support in program areas used in the mentoring of young people who are guests in the Kroc Center, assisting other staff and guests in appropriate use of program spaces and activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Provide support to youth engagement programming in various program spaces, primarily, but not limited to The Loft, RJ's Adventure Zone, and KidZone.
• Support the infusion of the 40 Developmental Assets (YADI), educational development and spiritual discovery into youth engagement programming throughout the Kroc Center.
• Proactively ensure safe and clean program areas for young people and guests.
• Maintain a working knowledge of all general and department safety rules and support their application.
• Serve as a positive role model for young people in the Kroc Center.
• Provide support for drop-in activities and special events.
• Maintain records and compiling statistics as required.
• Attend all youth engagement team meetings as requested.
• Schedule varies and will include evening, weekend and holiday hours.
• All other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities : None

Education and / or Experience : High School coursework required. High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience working with youth ages 6-12 and older preferred.
