Job Summary :
The CTO will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing all aspects of the companys technology landscape.
This includes leading the development and implementation of the technology strategy, driving innovation, and ensuring that the companys technology infrastructure supports its business objectives.
The CTO will play a critical role in shaping the future of the company by leveraging technology to create competitive advantages, enhance customer experiences, and improve operational efficiency.
Responsibilities :
- Overall Technology Strategy : Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with the companys business goals and drives innovation, growth, and operational efficiency.
- Data and Analytics : Drive the development and implementation of advanced data and analytics strategies. Ensure that data-driven insights are at the core of business decision-making processes, enabling the company to gain competitive advantages.
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) and AI Modeling : Lead the integration of AI technologies across the organization. Oversee the development and deployment of AI models that enhance business operations, improve customer experiences, and create new revenue streams.
- Technology Selection and Implementation : Lead the selection and implementation of relevant technology across all business units.
Ensure that the chosen solutions align with the companys operational needs and enhance customer experiences.
- Vendor Management : Develop and maintain strategic relationships with technology vendors. Negotiate contracts, ensure the delivery of high-quality services and products, and manage vendor performance to meet company standards and objectives.
- Funding Model Development : Design and implement technology funding models that ensure sustainable investment in technology initiatives.
Collaborate with finance and executive teams to align funding strategies with business objectives and growth plans.
- Technology Assessment : Conduct regular assessments of the companys technology infrastructure, platforms, and systems. Identify areas for improvement, optimization, and innovation to maintain competitive advantage.
- Innovation : Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and trends that could impact the companys business. Lead the development of new technology-driven products and services.
- Technology Infrastructure : Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of the companys technology infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
- Product Development : Collaborate with product management, marketing, and other teams to develop and deliver innovative products and services that meet customer needs and drive revenue growth.
- Cybersecurity : Ensure that the companys technology systems and data are secure and compliant with industry standards and regulations.
Lead efforts to mitigate risks and protect against cyber threats.
Stakeholder Communication : Communicate technology strategy and initiatives to the board of directors, investors, and other stakeholders.
Provide regular updates on technology projects and performance.
Budget Management : Develop and manage the technology budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to achieve strategic objectives.

Minimum Requirements :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 12+ years of experience in a technology leadership role, preferably in a publicly traded company.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful technology strategies.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse technology team. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- In-depth knowledge of current and emerging technologies, with the ability to assess and apply them to business opportunities.
- Experience with POS systems, including selection, implementation, and optimization.
- Experience with designing and implementing funding models for technology initiatives.
- Strong background in conducting comprehensive technology assessments and driving continuous improvement.
- Experience with cybersecurity, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with executive leadership, the board of directors, and external stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset.
