Description
Position Summary : Support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives.
They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Advise and support managers on HR-related issues, including performance management, employee relations, and staff development.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and contracts and recommended best practices;
reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
- Handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Help coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and provide internal development opportunities for employees.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding utilization of benefits.
- Act as liaison between employees and benefit carriers.
- Communicate changes or updates to compensation and benefits programs effectively to employees.
- Educate employees about their benefits packages and assist with inquiries or concerns.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in HR management.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
- Providing oversight on the administration of employee benefits, which includes 401(k) Plan, leave policies, wellness programs and insurance policies such as health, life and disability.
- Ensuring company compensation and benefit programs are administered consistently and in compliance with internal policies and government regulations.
- Perform benefits administration to include :
- Monitors employee eligibility for benefits plans.
- Approving invoices for payment, and communicating benefit information to employees.
- Compile and maintain benefits records and documents.
- Create benefit packages.
- Benefit Audits
- Assist with 401K, Benefits, Open Enrollments
Education and Work Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field.
- Progressively more responsible roles managing compensation and benefits programs, ideally in a public company environment.
- Advanced knowledge of legislation impacting benefit plans (ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, PPACA) and IRS rules and regulations.
- Strong proficiency with MS Office (especially EXCEL) and HRIS systems, ideally with UKG Pro (formerly known as UltiPro).
- Superior analytical and forecasting skills, attention to detail and commitment to high quality work product.
- Highly engaging, agile and collaborative
- Excellent project management and operational skills including planning, logistics, program management, and scheduling
- Strong strategic thinking capabilities with the ability to naturally translate strategy into plans for execution
- Solid understanding of business concepts, strategic alignment and identification of compensation and benefits implications

Hours Required :
M-F 8 : 30am-5 : 00pm, but must be flexible and available to work additional hours outside of this standard schedule depending on project scope.
