ROLE of the POSITION
The Department of Psychology at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in clinical psychology to begin Fall 2025.
The area of specialty is open; however, we have a preference for candidates whose research focuses on child or adolescent populations, health disparities, or traditionally marginalized or underserved populations.
- The successful applicant would be expected to (1) maintain a high-quality, fundable research program; (2) supervise practicum students through our on-campus training clinic;
- 3) teach graduate courses in clinical psychology; (4) mentor undergraduate and graduate students; (5) provide excellent instruction and research supervision;
and (6) participate in curricular decisions and faculty governance; we welcome early-career applicants who demonstrate potential in these areas.
PROFILE of the DEPARTMENT
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires a Ph.D. in Psychology from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and / or from an APA-accredited scientist-practitioner or clinical science program and an APA-accredited clinical internship.
