Position Overview : Soliant Education is seeking an enthusiastic English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher to join our educational team in Dorchester, SC.
This role focuses on teaching English language and literature to students, fostering a deep appreciation for reading and writing, and enhancing communication skills.
Responsibilities :
- Teach English Language Arts courses according to curriculum guidelines.
- Engage students in critical thinking and analysis of texts.
- Develop students' abilities in writing, reading comprehension, and oral communication.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate interdisciplinary lessons.
- Assess student progress through formal and informal methods and tailor instruction to meet individual needs.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree in English, Education, or a closely related field.
- Current South Carolina teaching certification with a specialization in English Language Arts.
