Inventory Specialist
This position is responsible for counting all products in stock and posting the totals to inventory records in the computer system.
The role involves resolving variances by locating the product or identifying errors in the records. The employee will generate reports on inventory balance and shortages and follow established procedures under readily available supervision.

Inventory Specialist Details :
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $ / hour
- Full Time work available
- First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07 : 30am to 04 : 00pm)
- Place all stock purchase orders in a timely manner to maintain stock rotation without outages.
- Maintain inventory stock levels in the computer, including updating current costs from all vendors.
- Perform daily cycle counts of designated products for specific dates.
- Handle stock receiving from the manufacturing plant and outside vendors.
- Track and report non-conforming products to the appropriate department or company.
- Identify and document issues related to quality or damaged, non-sellable items.
- Coordinate and integrate efforts across operations to enhance inventory accuracy.
- Develop and implement processes to minimize inventory variances.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Inventory Specialist Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in inventory control.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with inventory procedures in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent mathematical skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
