The Manager of Account Retention K-12 is to oversee account retention activities for this segment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe, functional, and welcoming environment that supports the educational mission of our public schools.

This position requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a deep understanding of facilities management in public K-12 and higher education schools, as the position will be responsible for ensuring proper SOPs are implemented and adhered to.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Interim Management during management transitions, installing segment SOPs, and training the team on account management and operations.
  • Participation and assistance in implementing customer accounts. Installing segment SOPs and training the team on account management and operations.
  • Customer relationship development and maintenance.
  • Manage the segment's client reporting and feedback mechanisms and ensure standards and timing are being met. Manage Monthly Reports.

Compliance by account managers and teams.Help the operations team with analyzing data and persuasive writingTrain managers to gather data from the many tools we have availableCollect, analyze, and maintain a repository of all Monthly Reports Manage Quarterly Business Review process Ensure complianceOversee schedulingAssist with content developmentMaintain a Google Drive repository of all QBRs Manage Principal Report Cards / Customer Surveys Ensure complianceMonitor monthly report activityMaintain a Google Drive repository of all QBRs

  • Conduct account operation audits of the segment's SOP Recommend changes and adjustmentsDevelop Action Plans and coordinate with the local operations team on corrective actionManage timeline for changes and adjustmentsHold the team accountable
  • Manage Account Retention calendar for the segment and relevant activities as the contract approaches expiration.
  • Actively participate in trade associations, such as APPA and IFMA, and regional associations related to the education and facilities management segment.
  • Provide training and development for the operations team.
  • Ensure safety standards are enforced in all operations.

Additional Responsibilities :

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with branches to provide a unified approach for the customer.
  • Ensure client satisfaction, which leads to customer retention.
  • Establish the team's vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with the client's objectives and interests.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5 years of proven experience in integrated facilities management that includes maintenance and janitorial, preferably in a public educational setting or equivalent experiences
  • Understanding of building systems, maintenance practices, and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent project management skills, including budgeting and resource allocation

Travel : 50% of the time. This position is based in one of The Budd Group’s major markets and has access to major airports, such as Charlotte, Nashville, Raleigh, and the Triad.
