Reporting directly to the Executive Director of Business Development, this role is pivotal in expanding the client base, exploring new markets, and delivering outstanding service to our customers in the commercial and industrial construction sectors.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to : -Market Research and Analysis : -Conduct detailed market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitors.
- Lead Generation and Prospecting : -Identify new clients through networking, industry conferences, referrals, and other sources.
- Work with the marketing team to develop campaigns to attract new leads.-Client Relationship Management : -Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
- Understand client needs, provide solutions, and assist in contract negotiations.-Update and manage client information in CRM software, and help analyze data for strategy improvements.
- Work with the Executive Director of Business Development to analyze CRM data to identify strategies that are producing the desired results and opportunities to improve the business development process.
- Proposal Development and Presentation : -Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized proposals.-Present tailored solutions that meet client project requirements and showcase company capabilities.
- Revenue Growth : -Work with the Executive Director of Business Development to meet or exceed revenue targets, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing client accounts.-Market Expansion : -Help explore new markets and industry segments for potential growth.
- Assist in developing strategies to enter new markets, including risk and opportunity evaluations.-Sales Process Execution : -Execute the sales process plan in collaboration with the Estimating, Pre-Construction, and Marketing teams.
- Assist with ongoing improvements to the sales process.-Brand Awareness : -Work with the Marketing team to increase brand awareness within the industry.
- Collect content to support marketing materials, project whitepapers, and social media posts.Key Result Areas (KRAs) : -Sales and Revenue Generation : -Cultivate relationships within legacy and new markets that lead to project opportunities that align with our organizational goals.
- Contribute to the overall revenue growth of the business.-Client Acquisition and Retention : -Increase the client base by successfully acquiring new clients.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.-Strategic Partnerships : -Establish strategic partnerships with industry stakeholders, suppliers, and collaborators.
- Leverage partnerships to create new business opportunities and enhance project opportunities.-Market Expansion : -Expand market presence by successfully entering new markets or segments.
- Increase brand awareness and recognition within the industry.-Team Collaboration : -Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Estimating, Pre-Construction, Marketing, and Operations.
- Ensure seamless communication and alignment of goals across departments.Education and Experience Requirements : -Minimum of 5 years of experience in the commercial and industrial construction industry.
- Relevant business development experience is preferred.Other Requirements : -Ability to work in various environments, including diverse weather conditions and terrains.
- Willingness to travel up to 10-20% to support client meetings and presentations.-Physical ability to sit, stand, climb ladders, and occasionally lift objects up to 30 pounds.
- Regular and predictable attendance is required.-Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.-Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
