Data Architect

As a Senior Data Architect / Engineer within Atlas' leading pharmaceutical client, you will be instrumental in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making.

In this role, you will work closely with various business units, as a trusted data consultant to understand their unique challenges and goals and architect robust data solutions to meet those needs.

Your expertise will empower stakeholders across the organization to make informed, data-driven decisions that propel the business forward.

Key Responsibilities :

• Strategic Partnership : Engage in collaborative consultations with client business units to identify their data requirements and uncover opportunities for analytics-driven improvements, enhancing their operational efficiency.
• Data Modeling and Visualization : Design, develop, and maintain sophisticated data models, reports, and interactive dashboards that clearly illustrate key business metrics and trends, driving impactful decision-making.
• Advanced Analytics : Leverage your analytical expertise to delve into complex datasets, extracting meaningful patterns, trends, and actionable insights that align with the client's strategic objectives.
• Mentorship and Training : Serve as a subject matter expert, providing comprehensive training and ongoing support to client business users on data tools, best practices, and industry standards, ensuring they are equipped to leverage data effectively.
• Data Quality Assurance : Champion data integrity by rigorously maintaining the accuracy and reliability of data products across the organization, supporting high-quality outcomes.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work seamlessly with IT teams and client stakeholders to optimize the delivery of data solutions, fostering a collaborative environment that maximizes efficiency and effectiveness.
• Innovation and Continuous Improvement : Stay at the forefront of data analytics and business intelligence trends, proactively seeking out new technologies and approaches to enhance the client's data capabilities.

Qualifications :

• Proven Experience : A successful track record as a data engineer with 5+ years of experience, demonstrating expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing, particularly in the pharmaceutical research space.
• Technical Proficiency : Strong proficiency in SQL, DBT, Python (PySpark), or other relevant programming languages, along with experience in data visualization tools like Tableau.
• Leadership Skills : Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance that aligns with Atlas' values.
• Communication Excellence : Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language for client stakeholders.
• Business Acumen : A keen understanding of business processes and objectives, with the ability to identify and address data-related challenges and opportunities in a client-focused environment.
• Problem-Solving Mindset : A passion for solving complex problems, with a proactive approach to identifying and implementing innovative solutions that drive client success.
• Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
