Responsibilities :
Responsible for inputting quality, food safety, and packaging related information into Supplier Hubs to meet customer requirements and deadlines.
Project management of existing and new packaging initiatives for the US and EU customers
Conduct packaging reviews to ensure regulatory and customer compliance via Artwork flow tool.
Collaborate with internal marketing team and overseas QC team on packaging modifications, reviews and approvals.
Responsible for annual review and maintenance of HACCP plan including communicating HACCP changes / meetings to senior leadership.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (marketing) and external stakeholders (customers and vendors) on existing and new packaging initiatives and supporting firm internal stakeholders with QA related activities.
Assist in regulatory activities related to USFDA / CFIA compliance as directed by senior management.
Provide support for implementation of new quality and food safety initiatives.
Assist with UPC / GTIN creation and documentation management of the codes for the organization.
Conduct training for QA / Packaging initiatives.
Responsible for consumer complaint trending and reporting to senior management
Support senior management in all internal and external third-party audits.
Travel to vendors / customers as needed.
Requirements : BS degree preferred.
BS degree preferred.
Experience QA manufacturing and food packaging / artwork design process
Knowledge of food safety requirements and USFDA / CFIA regulatory standards
Working knowledge of quality system requirements
Experience with MS Word, Excel, Project Management and Analytics software
Knowledge of project management tools (Asana, Wrike, etc.) highly desired
Knowledge of GFSI certification schemes and Chain of Custody programs (BRC, BAP, MSC, RFM) preferred
Knowledge and experience with GMPs, HACCP, Global Food Safety Initiative Programs (BRC, SQF, etc.)
Project management skills- strong organization and time management skills
Pay Details : $80,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
