Position : Senior Water Resources Engineer
Overview : We are seeking an experienced Senior Water Resources Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about engineering solutions related to water resources and has a strong background in hydraulic and hydrologic modeling.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- At least 5 years of professional experience in water resources engineering
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Hands-on experience with HEC-1, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, GEO-RAS, and storm drain system analysis
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in an employee-owned company culture
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage engineering projects and tasks involving complex hydraulic and hydrologic models
- Design and analyze systems related to stormwater collection and hydraulic structures, including detention facilities and flood control mechanisms
- Engage in planning, concept development, and documentation related to water resources
- Prepare detailed technical reports, engineering plans, and project specifications
- Lead and coordinate project teams, ensuring effective execution and collaboration
- Assist in water resources permitting and public presentations
- Fulfill other related duties as required

- Compensation varies by location and qualifications :
- For California, the range is $115,000 - $135,000 annually
