Timken Gears and Services Philadelphia Gear brand is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic responsible for maintenance and repair of all production equipment related to gear and power transmission manufacturing.
Responsibilities :
Support operations through the maintenance of all production equipment in the facility allowing for production schedules to be met.
Maintaining a preventative / productive maintenance program, timely troubleshooting of downed equipment and expedited repair of equipment.
Analyze mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or electrical problems and make repairs through adjustments, defective parts replacement, or fabrication.
Wire moderately complex control cirucuits.
Prioritize repairs and schedule to reduce impact of downed equipment.
Maintain relationships with outside vendors and handles related vendor issues.
Material Handling : operations of semi-automatic lifting devices, cranes, pallet lifts and other custom devices to move or relocate in-process work where needed.
Ensure that all equipment, buildings, and processes are maintained in such condition to conform to all corporate and legislative health safety and environmental requirements.
Basic Qualifications :
Min. 5 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Min. 5 years electrical circuit troubleshooting on lathe, milling, gear cutting and tooth grinding machines
Ability to develop relationships with peer groups that foster teamwork and unity of purpose
Ability to drive a forklift
Applicant must be able to walk, stand, climb, lift and / or move up to 25 pounds, see, hear, and use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms
US citizen or a legally authorized foreign work to work in ITAR environment
Read and speak English fluently
Pay Range : $31 - $38 hr.
