Responsibilities :
- Deliver and manage an enterprise data warehouse solution
- Identify opportunities for leveraging data that drives business solutions and enables competitive advantages
- Identify and lead the procurement of new data sources that complement operations
- Elicit and translate requirements into technical design specifications that adhere to best practices
- Nurture relationships with vendor and industry partners cultivating thought leadership and identify data services that can benefit investment teams and asset managers
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the database warehousing, business intelligence and data analytics landscape.
- Implement and expand business intelligence and analytics solutions
- Implement formal data governance approach and increase the maturity of the enterprise data capability and environment
- Lead the design, architecture, development and delivery of data solutions
- Provide technical leadership with data technologies
- Lead talent management, including recruitment, development, and recognition of team members
- Partners with management to design and implement an integrated approach for data analysis across the organization and its functions
- Guides various business teams and key users on how to utilize data analytics methods and tools.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mathematics or related discipline, or combination of related experience and education
- 5+ years of experience working with technologies and concepts to process and analyze large unstructured and structured data sets (e.
g. Azure Synapse, Haddop, Spark, Data mining, machine learning)
5+ years of experience working with business intelligence and data warehousing concepts and technologies
Solid understanding of predictive modeling tools and languages
- Must Have : Proven and existing experience in Management
- Experience with visualization tools
- Experience with statistical computer languages
- 3+ years in a director position or position that provides strategic direction
- Ability to foster effective working relationships and build consensus
- Thorough understanding of an enterprise decision-making process
- Demonstrated experience working with external parties such as service providers, contractors, and software vendors.
