Description

This position will work on our Medicare Pricing team, with the main focus being preparing and submitting Medicare bids and rate filings.

This will also involve preparing and analyzing reports, developing forecasts and updating pricing models. Additionally, this position will help to evaluate impacts of contracting, benefit changes, and analyze recent experience using statistical programming and database tools to look for opportunities and risks within the pricing blocks.

This position will work closely with our Medicare segment, partnering in product development as well as evaluating and strengthening our expanding Medicare product portfolio.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or related, plus progress along the Actuarial exam pathway is preferred.
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience.
  • ACA and / or healthcare experience is preferred.
  • Highly proficient in Excel and experience in SAS or SQL is also preferred.
  • Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to balance several projects and deadlines at once.

This position is a Hub role, which requires an employee to occasionally come onsite to the designated office, Minnetonka or Madison for applicable heads-up work.

Frequency is determined by business need as decided by leadership.

The full salary range for this position is $67,100 - $115,100. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and / or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data.
