What we need from you :
- Experience - You have 5-7+ years of Workers’ Compensation claims experience
- Certification
- SIP certification required
- Customer Service - You have excellent customer service, communication, and telephone skills
- Mathematical and Analytical - Ability to review data and make actionable recommendations based on the information.
- Comprehensive Knowledge - Understanding of Worker’s Compensation guidelines, compliance obligations, and the Labor Code of the State of California.
- Software - You are proficient with Microsoft Office : Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other database management systems
Responsibilities :
- Responsibilities include handling new claims from opening until satisfactory completion, evidence, and fact-gathering surrounding claims
- Assuring all claims have a workable plan of action
- Working with case managers and treatment facilities to ensure the delivery of care
- Reviewing billing summaries
- Identifying any signs of fraud and making proper referrals for further investigation
- Pursue subrogation when necessary, and offer superior customer service to all parties involved
