Requirements :

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a RegisteredNurse
• Experience in psychiatric nursingpreferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS)certification by the American Heart Association (AHA)

Job Description :

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced RegisteredNurse (RN) to join our psychiatric team in National City Californiafor a 3month contract position.

This role offers a competitivehourly pay rate of $56 / hr (negotiable) and provides an opportunityto work with a diverse patient population in a dynamic andsupportive environment.

As an RN in the psychiatric unit you willplay a crucial role in providing comprehensive care and support topatients with mental health disorders.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patientsmental health status.
• Develop individualizedcare plans based on assessment findings and patientgoals.
• Administer medications and treatmentsas prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Providetherapeutic interventions and support to patients and theirfamilies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinaryteam members to ensure holistic patient care.
• Monitor patients progress and response to treatment andadjust care plans as needed.
• Document allaspects of patient care accurately and timely in electronic medicalrecords (EMR).
• Adhere to hospital policiesprocedures and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications :

• Minimum 1 year of experience working as a RegisteredNurse.
• Experience in psychiatric nursingpreferred.
• Current licensure as a RegisteredNurse (RN) in the state of California.
• BasicLife Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association(AHA).
• Strong assessment and therapeuticskills.
• Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills.
• Ability to workeffectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
