R&D Art Generalist
Length : 12 months + extensions
Location : Santa Clara, CA (Hybrid : 3x per week on site)
R&D Art Generalist Requirements :
- Experience creating photo-realistic art
- Experience with synthetic data
- Deep knowledge of high fidelity asset development techniques for games, film, VFX, VR, AR, and MR experiences
- Proficiency in multiple applications like Maya, Vray, Substance, Houdini or others
- Diverse capabilities in 3D modeling, texturing, shading, look dev, lighting, and rendering
- Proficient in physically based rendering, camera, lighting and material calibration
- Experience with real-time game engines and offline rendering solutions
- Experience working with external teams
- An eye towards automation and procedural content development solutions
- Ability to deliver high-visual quality within performance constraints
- Experience working with external teams, documentation, and training others
- Knowledgeable of Python, Mac OS, and Windows
R&D Art Generalist Responsibilities :
- Creating 3D content with a strong focus on creativity
- Collaborate closely with the creative leads, ensuring a deep understanding of the artistic and technical requirements for art assets
- Developing textures for different assets and distinguishing between low and high-quality art assets
- Technical knowledge, such as building pipelines, is not required for this position
