Curex Pharmacy in Scotch plains is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Pharmacy Technician to become part of our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists with medication preparation and dispensing, deliver exceptional customer service, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Medication Preparation : Support the preparation and dispensing of prescription medications under the guidance of a licensed pharmacist.
• Customer Service : Deliver excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries, processing transactions, and resolving concerns professionally.
• Inventory Management : Maintain accurate inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock to ensure medication availability.
• Regulatory Compliance : Ensure that all pharmacy operations adhere to federal, state, and local regulations.
• Record Keeping : Accurately maintain patient records and pharmacy documentation.
• Insurance Processing : Handle insurance claims processing and address any reimbursement issues.
• Team Collaboration : Work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
• Safety Protocols : Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Job Requirements :

• Education : High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a pharmacy technician training program is preferred.
• Certification : Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) is preferred.
• Experience : Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred.
