About the Company : We are seeking an experienced Network & Systems Administrator to join a small IT team. This role will assist with Network Management, Backups, Vulnerability Management, Systems & Server Administration, Support and work on a variety of projects.

Responsibilities of the Network & Systems Administrator :
- Manage and support IT environment onsite and remotely.
- Provide positive end-user experiences by meeting technical needs.
- Communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
- Manage Active Directory (AD) and cloud platforms like Azure and / or AWS.
- Provide occasional afterhours and weekend support.
- Support backup systems and Windows, Linux, and server environments.
- Maintain standard operating procedures and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Procure hardware for the IT department and manage vulnerability platforms.
- Assist with Help Desk tickets.
Preferred Experience of the Network & Systems Administrator :
- Thorough knowledge of IT industry, particularly Active Directory, Office365, Microsoft infrastructure, and VMware.
- Experience with backup systems like Veeam and Zerto, and tools like Rapid7 InsightVM & InsightIDR.
- Advanced network setup and troubleshooting skills.
- Understanding of Windows server systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in small IT environments (
- Understanding of risk management.
- Proficiency in virtualization technology.
Bonus Experience of the Network & Systems Administrator :
- Certifications in MCP, MCSE, MCITP, Net+, Sec+, CySA+, CCNA, etc.
- Experience working in the financial or professional services industry.
