Job Overview
The Identity Management Specialist is responsible for managing, creating, modifying, and deleting User Identities, and maintaining the access those identities have to computer systems, as appropriate when authorized requests are submitted.
This position is also responsible for managing Security Groups as appropriate when authorized requests are submitted, accountable for using Identity Management Applications, to automate the management of Identities and Access.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Creates, monitors, and ensures end-user identities adhere to IT security policy, procedures, and best practices
- Partners with the business to promote security access, user accessibility, and business processes
- Identify and analyze the system to remediate identified errors
- Analyzes and prepares correspondence, graphs, charts, and reports using various software to ensure that the systems and Identities meet company standards
- Consults with users to determine future specifications for automation
- This analysis will help the company continue its mission with accuracy and reduce enablement times
- Acts as the central point of contact for IAM (Identity Access Management) policy questions and updates
- Oversees the administration, documenting, and monitoring inventory control for all IAM systems to ensure they are running optimally to provide uninterrupted service
- Responsible for the compilation and analysis of data for proper reporting and metrics to ensure the systems are running as designed
- Creates, updates, implements, and maintains IAM procedures always analyzing the processes for better efficiency of service delivery
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

- Heavy analytics ability and the ability to perform complex audits
- Experience with Office 365 suite
- Experience with Active Directory and scripting is preferred
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years of education beyond high school in college or technical school
- Knowledge acquired through up to 12 months of work experience
