We are seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Manager. In this position, you will be responsible for performing full life-cycle Contract Management for a large portfolio of high value contracts.

Active US Government Top Secret security clearance required.

Sign-on Bonus : Up to $25,000

Specific Responsibilities :

  • Lead negotiation activities for major proposals
  • Analyze and negotiate contracts received from the government and industry prime customers identifying areas of risk and developing negotiation strategies
  • Support functional areas (i.e. Legal, Business Development, Program Management, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain etc.

by providing contract advice in support of proposals, agreements and other activities as required

Experience / Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
  • Extensive knowledge of FAR and DFARS requirements
  • Have demonstrated experience working both directly with US government acquisition organizations and as a supplier to the major aerospace prime contractors
  • Extensive experience negotiating terms and conditions
  • Have a working knowledge of FFP / FPIF / CPAF / CPIF / CPFF / T&M and hybrid contract types
  • Have a working knowledge of DPAS Regulations
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office products as well as business systems (i.e. SAP)
  • Possess excellent verbal and written skills to communicate effectively with various functional groups at all levels, both internal and external
  • Active US Government Top Secret security clearance required.

Education :

BS or BA in an applicable field (business, legal, etc.) is required

The position is located onsite at our facility in Danbury, CT . Generous relocation provided!

EHS / Environmental Requirements :

Able to lift / move computer and printer equipment

Due to contract requirements, US citizenship is required. Additionally, if you are a dual citizen (a citizen of the US and another country), the Company must obtain approval for you to have access to the information required for this position.

You will not be able to begin employment until such approval is obtained and this may take several months.

This position requires an active US Government Top Secret security clearance.
