You’ll be the vital link between vendors and our IT staff, ensuring our networked ophthalmic equipment runs smoothly.ResponsibilitiesService Contract Management : Maintain and oversee service contracts across multiple ophthalmology sites.
Inventory Coordination : Update retirement records, manage inventory, and apply asset stickers to new or old devices.Vendor Liaison : Troubleshoot and create cases for networked and exam lane hardware by liaising with vendors.
Staff Training : Provide training on ophthalmic devices and hardware for staff at all sites.Incident Management : Act as the point of contact for incident tickets, collaborating with IT to maintain device functionality.
Equipment Operation : Operate networked ophthalmic equipment within the clinic workflow, using tools like Epic MWL, Forum, and advanced storage systems.
Data Retrieval : Assist tech teams by retrieving patient data across devices to address missing information.Documentation : Develop training documents to ensure consistent processes across sites.
Order Management : Resolve issues with discontinued or incorrectly billed orders, facilitating communication among techs, physicians, and billing.
Compliance and Record Keeping : Ensure HIPAA compliance, track and resolve incorrect patient data, and update incident records across all sites.
