Position Summary :
The Technical Coordinator is essential in supporting pre-sales event processes, coordinating event production pricing, managing technical equipment inventories, and advancing production details to ensure seamless event executions.
This role demands a keen understanding of the technical requirements for audio, video, and lighting equipment operation and live music / event production, coupled with strong organizational and communication skills.

Scope of Responsibilities :
Pre-sales Event Support : Provide the Event Sales Team with technical information and support during the initial client interaction phase, detailing venue capabilities and available inventory.
Event Production Pricing : Implement pricing strategies for turnkey equipment rental packages. Customize equipment rental pricing for sales and booking teams, ensuring comprehensive provisioning for events to maximize revenue.
Equipment Inventory Management : Oversee the intake, organization, tracking, transfer, and regular audits of equipment stored across various AV closet locations to maintain operational readiness and proper resource distribution for upcoming events.
Detailed Production Advancing : Collect and organize detailed production requirements from clients and internal programming departments to meet all technical needs for scheduled events.
Event Booking and Production Platform Coordination : Ensure accurate data transfer between event booking platforms (e.g., Prism, Tripleseat) and technical production platforms (e.g., Rentman).
Technical Staff Coordination : Manage outreach, scheduling, and payment for freelance and part-time technical staff to meet event staffing requirements.
Lighting Coordination : Oversee the deployment and retrieval of portable lighting equipment for events and assist with the development of SOPs for architectural lighting systems across various properties.
Skills and Qualifications :
AVL Equipment Familiarity : Intermediate knowledge of audio, lighting, video, and DJ equipment. Must have a keen interest in learning about different equipment types, their requirements and operation.
Resource Management Software : Willingness to master several CRM platforms, including Prism.fm, Tripleseat, and Rentman.
Familiarity with Live Music and Event Production Workflows : Basic understanding of an event production schedule, including load-in, setup, soundchecks, strike, and load-out.
Organizational and Detail Orientation : Ability to manage and communicate precise details about multiple projects simultaneously.
Communication Skills : Strong capability to handle high volumes of internal and external communications with various stakeholders effectively.

The base pay range for this position is a salary range of $30.00 35.00 hourly. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history / job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, etc.
