Job Summary and Qualifications

The Endoscopy RN demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgement, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for the care of the patient.

The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for the planning, directing and provision of nursing care to patients in accordance with recognized nursing techniques, procedures, established standards and administrative policies.

In This Role You Will Have :

• Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including / not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• 1-3 years of Endoscopy experience in a hospital required

What qualifications you will need :

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree
• 1 or more years of Endo experience

HCA Florida Mercy Hospital is a 488-bed facility. We are accredited by the Joint Commission and offer a wide range of medical specialties.

These specialties include emergency care, heart, and vascular care. We are designated by the Joint Commission as a Primary Stroke Center.

Other specialties include maternity and neonatal care. We are a Level II NICU hospital. HCA Florida Mercy Hospital is CARF accredited for inpatient rehabilitation.

Our facility offers a Comprehensive Community Cancer Program. This program is accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer.
